Delete your AcroWorld account

This page explains how to delete your account in the AcroWorld app (iOS and Android) and on acroworld.net, published by Caspar Baumeister. Deleting your account is free and cannot be undone.

In the app

1. Open AcroWorld and sign in.
2. Go to the Profile tab and open Settings.
3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

On the website

1. Sign in on acroworld.net.
2. Open your profile.
3. Scroll to the bottom, choose Delete account and confirm.

By email

If you cannot sign in any more, write to info@acroworld.de from the email address of your account. We delete the account within 30 days and confirm by email.

What is deleted

• Your sign in, name, email address and profile picture
• Your teacher or organizer profile, its followers and private settings
• Your favorites, followed profiles and followed events
• Profile claims and the messages in them
• Your location on the community map and your push notification tokens

What is kept

• Bookings stay in anonymized form, without your name, email address or answers, because organizers and we need them for accounting and legal obligations.
• Events you organized together with others stay online for the other organizers.
• Events you organized alone are archived and no longer shown.
• Crash reports are deleted automatically after 90 days at the latest.

Organizers with upcoming bookings on their events need to cancel or finish these events before they can delete their account.

Delete some data without deleting the account

You can turn off your location on the community map, remove your profile picture, unfollow profiles and events in the app, or ask us by email to delete specific data. More in our privacy policy.
